This year we celebrated Thanksgiving a little differently at our house. We took dinner into the Assisted Living place that our great grandparents now reside. We had great fun with them and feel ever so thankful to have our 91 year old great grandparents doing so well. After the great feast which included 15 people some who even were working on this day, the girls thought it would be fun to put on a play: THE FIRST THANKSGIVING! While I am not sure how accurate of an intepretation it was, they had fun designing the costumes and recruiting the actors to join in. When it was all said and done, they had actors varying in age from 4 to 91 in the play! It was a great day for all to be had...

How awesome! I love that your darlings have taken on the roles of playwrights! Well they really are triple threats, write, act, direct! :) -S
I'm thrilled that you ended up doing that. I'm sure it was a lot of work, but what memories for everyone. Bravo. You probably gave them the best thanksgiving ever.
