Today the earth lost a beautiful woman, but God reclaimed one amazing soul! My friend, Jen, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ forever on June 5, 2008. I will miss her dearly.
To those who knew Jen, I pray you are comforted by the One who loves Jen most: God, Father, Abba!
For Jen: Philippians 3:20-4:1 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.
She was your friend from college who had breast cancer, right? I am sorry to hear that she passed. I know that she is in a better place with a loving Father in Heaven. We will see her again some day! Know that you and her family our in our prayers.
A- So beautiful. I cried on the bus when I saw it (there was WiFi and Shawn was checking his reader). I am still checking about flights, but I probably won't be able to be there for the funeral. I love you and I am sending the biggest hug that I can through the e-waves. -S
Jen was a wonderful person who brought much love and happiness to all who were lucky enough to meet her! You all are in my heart and my thoughts! Love you & miss you, Meg
I was at the funeral today. You were wonderful! I loved the stories you shared, and your love of Jen was obvious, touching, and heartwarming. I've known Jen since she was in high school. Her family used to live in our neighborhood (Julie lives there now). My daughter (2 years younger than Jen) played volleyball with her, and my oldest son (two years older than Jen) had a crush on her at one point. She was always such a joyful person, and even before her cancer, she was inspirational. She will be sorely missed, but we will see her again. Just wanted to share how much I enjoyed what you shared today. Blessings!
April, You blessed me today as you spoke about Jenny at the service. The tears flowed, but your talk was so touching! I pray God wraps his arms around you and gives you comfort. I told my hubby that today was sad, but it was so filled with hope for our eternal home. Thanks for sharing your heart! God bless, Connie
No we didn't meet. Yes, it was a blur of people yesterday, and I know over 1/2 of them! Yes, the let down hit big here, too. I work with Chuck Wigton. I don't know if you've met him but he was mine & Jen's pastor growing up. He said he just didn't feel well today and I told him how I was feeling and he said it sounded like we had the same thing-emotional drained and all of it just hitting us. I was up all night, pretty much, so am so tired today I really can't focus at work! Oh well, they all understand and are helping me through. It's great to work in a church!!!!!! Please contact me at anytime if you just need to vent, okay.

I am certain she is loving her "glorious body"!
