Taylor entered the first grade this last week. It was a challenging week for everyone as we got used to the longer school day and eating away from each other. It was a tough week on both of us, but I know we will get used to it. 
This apprehensive look is a more accurate portrait of how she really felt about 1st grade. I think it is safe to say she is going to be a "worrier" like her mother!

Oh she is such a doll! LOVE the shoes, they add quite a bit of sass to that outfit. It is such a bummer that she is a worrier and that the week began with apprehension - as a worrier myself, I completely understand where she is coming from. Glad to hear that you are hanging in there. It is a big change, but it looks like both of you faced it with grace and joy (at least eventually!)! -S
I've been dying to know the details, but know that they're on the way in the mail. I wanted to call, but I figured I better wait until our first day was over with too. She looks adorable and I pray that everyone is settling into the new routine. We miss you and love you dearly.
She looks like she's ready to tackle the world - let alone first grade! I'll be thinking good, calm, first grader thoughts for Taylor and her mom!
